Anybody have any idea when you chaps will be recruiting this year?

you'd be lucky to get an application form!!!!!  I tried a couple of years ago but had to phone up and give my personal details then go into the raffle of actually getting a form so it’s a lottery before the recruitment campaign even starts, what with London being the biggest FRS in the UK.  Wouldn’t surprise me if there is 100,000 plus trying to get a form.  Best thing to do is to register with the recruitment pages at www.fireservice.co.uk , if You haven’t already done so, you'll be kept up to date with all the latest info there.  Best of luck.

I know during the last campaign I was lucky to get a form and got as far as the BA crawl which i screwed up.  It’s been over two years so I suspect they will need to recruit sometime this year.  At the moment I’m trying Gloucester but London or South/Mid and west Wales would suit me better.
