Title: Fire Plan
Post by: mikegrey on July 03, 2008, 01:11:17 PM
As the safety manager for my organisation i have been tasked with developing the Fire Prevention Plan. I have a good idea of what should be in the plan but would like to know if anyone has a good, simple example that i could develop into a plan that illustrates our prevention system.

Any assistance most welcome

Here is something to start you off:

   Fire risks in the premises?

   The fire safety measures in the building?

   Action in the event of fire?

   Action on hearing the fire alarm signal?

   Method of operation of manual call points?

   Location and use of fire extinguishers?

   Means of summoning the fire and rescue service?

   Identity of persons nominated to assist with evacuation?

   Identity of persons nominated to use fire extinguishing appliances?
