Title: Information on a recent fire in Cumbria
Post by: Chris Houston on July 14, 2008, 02:39:10 PM
A client of mine had a fire at an industrial unit in cumbria a few weeks ago.

I would like to get any info from the fire and rescue services about the loss - to try and make sure it won't happen again at this site or anywhere else.

Is this the sort of info that they are likely to be helpfulin in giving me?

Chris
If the local service that attended are anable or unwilling to give out infomation over the phone due to data protection etc then I suggest that you on behalf of the client, the client or the insurance company ask for a copy of the Fire Report (FDR1). They will probably ask for a fee, from my time in the service I know that we had a specific admin assistant that dealt with such requests.
