A quick web search hasn't revealed much other than they enacted a new Building Code last year that picks bits from both UK & USA codes so expect a mish mash of BSEN & NFPA standards, etc

According to my Omani colleague, there is a Civil Defence Code which is more similar to the NFPA codes than the BS ones.

As far as I know they follow BSEN more than NFPA in buildings, but in petroleum sides, that's an other issue every company apply its continents codes of practice. a bit of every thing which gives a sort of mosaic or  'tableau de picasso' sort of.
