Having passed your relevent ADC how long is it valid for? is there national guidance on when you may have to retake your ADC for crew commander for example. Are ADC valid for an unknown lenth of time such as the old exams. Help and what happens in your service would be useful. Thanks

Well, I've just passed my ADC and am now on a development program. I have 18 months to complete this during which time I can, subject to conditions, apply for postions.

I haven't been told how long it's valid for but I have heard three years mentioned.... unconfirmed of course!!

Perhaps I should ask the question!!

It may vary from brigade to brigade, but may last up to 18months or the next ADC,whichever is the sooner.
