Title: Part time Firefighter work?????????????

Hi i am a serving firefighter at an airport and work a great shift pattern but want to do some part time firefighter work on my days off so i have plenty of time to offer, does anyone do or know of any part time firefighter work at all? or more specifically around the berkshire and surrounding counties, hope some one can help

there are no part-tiem firefighter posts, but there are Retained Duty System (RDS) at many of the stations in Berkshire, depends on where you live?

Hi ya thanks for the reply, i am aware of the retained system and am trying to move closer to a station so i can apply for there but i have heard of some small airfields on low cat needing part time people and some event fire cover companys, was just interested to know if anyone has any info one them

Steve-o what shift pattern works with 2 on 4 off, if you register yourself with Firetech they have part-time work at other airfields available at times

I know of 1 on 3 off shift patterns, but that is 24 hours on. Steve's may be 2x24 hours?
