Title: Panels to 5839 pt 1...
Post by: David Rooney on November 04, 2008, 12:02:12 PM
Now EN54-25 is current, and 5839 2002 A2 refers to the aforementioned document.... am i right in thinking that the likes of EMS panels and EDA panels that do not presently comply with EN54 should no longer be installed on jobs specified as "meeting 5839....." ??

Is it acceptable to put this forward as an agreed variation ??

Not that I'm aware but you could be right.......

But then they've all known this was coming for years so I don't know why they haven't moved quicker to comply.....

It certainly will if technically we are not allowed to install their kit until it does comply..... hence the question....!!!
