Your E-mail address doesn't work Chris; that's why I put this inquiry in public, hope you may deal with.
Message from Thomas Brook :
Hello Benzerari
Sorry to bother you but I am hoping you may be able to help me, I have been trying to log on to the Fire.org.uk forums to no avail. I have tried to get replacement passwords and even tried to open a new account but I just keep getting error messages.
I was hoping that you would try to contact the site owner Chris for me to see if he will contact me to get me back on the forum, I am sure I have not been banned.
Many Thanks in advance

On a similar vein Chris, I know someone who would like to join the forum but can't successfully register due to a consistant error message that appears when she tries to submit her details.
The message is along the lines of " connection to fire.org.uk has failed" or is "not permitted"

Thanks Benzerari, all sorted

My email appears to be working to me, I've been receiving them all day. Look at any post I make, move your mouse over "E-mail" and you can see my address, don't need to do it through FireNet.
I didn't do anything to fix the problem, so not sure what has happened.
Retty,
There was a ban on new members, but this has been liften. Many have joined since, I don't think it is a FireNet problem.

No Chris it shows 'error.... '
In your inputs there are 'E-mail' and not the right 'URL' address,... it's not visible to the users in order to use it through other engines such as yahoo, google, hotmail ... etc
That's why I said, try to open an account and send to your original account address an e-mails and see... etc

Move your mouse over "Email" and look in the bottom left of the screen. You will see my email address. One should never write one's email in an internet forum because robots scan discussion forums for these. So I'll spell it out:
chris _ m _ houston at hot mail dot com

Retty,
I don't think it is a FireNet problem.
I thought that too but she has tried from work computer and her home PC...
And I also experienced something similar when I tried to get a password reminder about a week ago.
