When sending a link to a post by email, it appears that the recepient can access it without having to log in.  Does that mean porn can be posted in my name?

I don't understand the question.

I think I got it - anyone can view any topic/post on the forum but you need to log in to reply etc.
So if you send a link to a non-member they can read it but cannot reply.
Some forums you can only non-member sections or none at all until you have signed up.

It's an internet forum.  Anyone can read it.  I didn't think there was any doubt about that.  But was that the question.........?

I think SidM is worried that someone can post in his name by using an email link?

I'm not the technical expert, just the moderator, but as this has never happened and we use a popular modern secure piece of software it seems highly unlikely. Is there some suggestion that a problem has occurred?
