Hi
About 3 months ago I was called to a site with 4 zone Firedex panel, panel with hinge down front with eng. code inside. Anyway it turned out to be a faulty EOL on one zone which was an EOLM1, which we ordered and I later fitted successfully.
This week got called to the same panel, different zone in fault, checked all the heads and connections, when I located the EOL it was an EOLM not an EOLM1 as before. I had one on the van which solved the problem, but how can this be? The other 3 zones have EOLM1 and zone 4 has EOLM. I tried fitting EOLM1 to zone 4 but the fault did not clear.
I'm pretty sure that these two EOLs are not interchangeable, anyone got any ideas.
Cheers

Make sure there are no Tees and spurs with EOLMs, the system wouldn't accept fitting more than one EOLM per zone circuit...

EOLM is for 2100 series panels
EOLM 1 is for all(?) other conventionals.
