Is there anyway to cancel the buzzer while work is being carried out on these panels. Some customers get upset by the noise. (only by hand not by laptop).
-
Its under the Set Up menu > modify>sound>buzzer>disable (according to the menu tree anyway!!)

It seems to be, there is a cancelation by program, I have tried it, but didn't work, I personaly would like to know any other ways, other than the use of screw driver to dig the buzzer in once.

You can only do it on the main panel.
-
Do you mean the screw driver or the cancelation?
-
Tried the method of modify-sound-buzzer-disable but it did not work, so i take it only works on certain panels i.e not the new version.
-
I don'tthink this will work if you already have disablements on the panel. It will need to be a clean panel first. Then modify the buzzer then do your disablements. This should work....

You can turn the Buzzer to OFF, also for faults and fires events, but all it does it turn the bleeping from continuous to intermittent. Half hassle any way :)
