I have just come across one their panels (clymac panel) and found the comissioning code changed and was wondering if anybody have a clue what it is? Customer had tried to contact them but now have been bought out by chubb so the answer was no or did not know. The area i work in is south west and devon. Any replys would be helpful.

I take it those other ones didn't work?? I'm in NI so that's probably why. I'll see if Gary knows anyone in England. Watch this space.

Any particular site Davro...? Sometimes they do have site/ chain of site specific codes.
Is it the ZP3/ZP5 panel..? Which is manufacturered by Ziton
-
No sorry those codes did not work, but thanks anyway and it is a zp3 panel of which had a fault on it saying zone 000? point 2080 which is not on the system and never was. Reset would not clear it so i disabled it then enabled it and all has been o.k since. Plus also many mcps going offline? changed a couple but now it seems i change 1 every month is this common? Waterproof mcps outside and inside chiller room and frezzer room.

Analogue addressable MCP's in chiller rooms are a nightmare... Experienced all sorts of problems with many manufacturers on this one.
Now... I would always put a zone interface outside the cold area, and wire conventional MCP's within the freezer area then you have no electronics within the MCP in the cold areas and are ujust relying on a switch. This way you will find you'll overcome your problem

....unless you get ice building up across the contacts!!!
I've had this happen in a meat processing plant.

Yes that is what they done with mcps in freeezer room and now they may want to extend freezer into chiller room of which i did want the code for, and because we only got the contract because chubb said they did not take this contract on when they took over initial?
-
It must be different in the mainland. I know we (Belfast) are taking over all initial work. Everything, intruder, fire, cctv.
I've spoke to one of the engineers today, there are actually different commissioning codes for different sites over here, so good luck getting a code.

Thanks for reply, what a bummer changing codes :'(

Try 5839 ;D
Was a favourite of one of the big companies a few years ago

Clymac codes are 3000/4000/5000 try these

Davro a mutual friend has asked me to pass on the following message- For codes for ZP3 panels ( Climac) as supplied by Initial. Try the last 4 digits of the local Shorrock Fire branch telephone number. The branch listings used to be available in the public domain.
-
In addition to what Kurnal said ( I wonder where he got the info from ?) you could try a series of numbers in the range of 082 083 085 086 up to 094 and then you could substitute the zero for a one eg 182 or 185 etc etc
In order to protect the innocent, these numbers are only a guess and have no mathmatical substance or basis whatsoever. Anybody is capable of making a guess at random numbers which is what I have indicated above and therefore nobodys intelectual properties have been infringed.

clymac dont usually change the default code 2000 and 3000 if these dont work there is a way to get the code from the panel.
