Can anyone tell me the cause of the Royal Marsden fire...I heard it was contractors in the plant room but what was the cause?

blimey 88 looks on here and 62 in the FI forum and nobody knows...must have been a hushed job that one

The problem seems to be that since the Royal Marsden is operated by a Foundation Trust there is no mandadory duty for details of the fire incident to be reported to the Department of Health as would be the case for other NHS Trusts. 

I'd heard of the possible cause being contractor activity, but I've got no further details than that.
