Note from the second page that this is work done in 1993! I was highly grateful that I was not chosen to be part of the team involved in this - I don't think my stomach would have stood it! I do recall there were all sorts of problems involved in producing the equipment - it all had to fulfil stringent aerospace specs and it was done at very short notice - full marks to my former colleagues in the Fire Research workshops.
