Title: Fire Officer post working with Housing Associations
Post by: torchy on April 29, 2009, 08:21:20 AM
I have posted this enquiry before but received very little response.  I am seeking to employ someone with fire and rescue experience to assist in our efforts to comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.  The job pays up to £36K and is located to the west of london.

I would welcome any information on recruiting to a post such as this.  Is there a proffessional magazine where most fire officer posts are advertised?  I am running out of ideas.

Why not try advertising in the IFE magazine Fire Risk Management, usually a page or two of vacancies each month. There are a number of health and safety recruitment agencies on the net, try a google search.

Hi,

Contact me via email stu_1979@hotmail.co.uk I have someone you can see for the position.  They have housing association experience and finished a contract on Friday with a local authority.  They are approved with the Institute of Fire Engineers and hold technician status with them TIFireE.

Regards

I am seeking to update this enquiry.  Having gone through the recruitment process once, for reasons too boring to recound I am back in the market palce looking to fill this post.  To avoid all confusion I am not speaking with agents at this time nor do I wish to recruit on a limited contract.

I would be delighted to speak with any one having experience with fire safety in residential accommodation.
