Has anyone got any info about an Autronica Addressable Fire Alarm Panel ?
-
Blimey, a blast from the past... How old is this baby..?
-
Very Old and should have been replaced years ago IMHO.
-
Weren't Autronica the inventors of the addressable fire alarm system back in the early 80's? Maybe it is that old!
-
Norweigan company, now bought up by UTC Fire & Security, with the likes of Chubb, Kidde etc...
Do you know what panel it is, i.e. model number etc...?
-
One of their old technical boys was the spit of Leslie Philips - Ding Dong . ;D
Huge detectors , looked very at home on an oil platform.
-
i thought Autronica only did ships and oil rigs
cant imagine there would be much info about, have you tried emailing them directly, visit their website and email support for a manual and see if they send it you

You should see how many are installed "on shore" outside the UK (inclding the Republic of Ireland).
Look anything like this?

that brings back so many horrible memories buzzz
i have all the manuals for that panel-what do you need to know?
-
i think the one i have looked at is the BS 60.
I need to know as much about the system as possible eg
How many sounder circuits ( 4 ? )
How to view Loop and Device Info
Device Programming
Double Address Faultfinding
I have worked on lots of addressable systems but this is the first time i have seen an Autronica system.
