Not sure if Chris allows recruitment posts, so if its a problem I apologise to him in advance. We are looking for two consultants to join the team. Would typically have say 8 years continuous experience probably in an F&RS and at ADO level. A Home Counties F&RS would be good, but we would consider anyone living in South East or East Coast up to East Anglia. There will be a detailed ad in FSE magazine September issue, plus october issue of the other journals.
If anyone knows of any possibles, email address for cv etc is cstodd@btconnect.com
Ta.

What about those lesser mortals with continuous experience at teaching ADO's how to do the job?

He's not looking for proper consultants. It's horses for courses I spose, a fire engineering graduate will probably be as a chocolate tea pot.

Al we get offered here are civil service jobs,incoming/outgoing call centre agents and assembly jobs in US factories who are grant aided for the first 2 years then pull out.......yeah,I'm having a bad work day!!!

Can't see many people getting a reply from that email address Colin. Might require another 'n' somewhere.

Mushy, I did not pass the recruitment test, as when they said "jump"
I looked around for the nearest female, instead of saying "how high".

Nearly, if you mean the station officers, I have a bias towards those who cleaned up their mess for them, though one of our best guys was a stn officer.
Wee B, we would take a fire engineering graduate with suitable field experience, but its the field experience we need at the moment and most graduates simply dont have enough yet. We have tried taking on a brand new graduate but it did not work well for us.
Civvy, Thank you for spotting the deliberate mistake.

Fiar enough - I guess you've probably got the hang of it by now...
