Title: Apollo Xpander
Post by: smoke monkey on September 10, 2009, 04:41:40 AM
Has anyone used these detectors or callpoints?
I am unable to get an MX4000 to see a replacement device.
How do I get the new device logged onto the system?
Scenario is an Advanced MX4000 addressable panel with an Apollo Xpander Interface.

1. Ensure the batteries are installed and the battery jumper (arrowed) is fitted across both header pins on each device.
Allow the device to power up for at least 4 minutes before attempting to log on.
2. On the interface, press the rotary menu select switch then turn it to ‘Add New Device’ and press to select. You will be
prompted to press the log on button on the device.
3. Press and hold the device’s log on button for 2 seconds.
4. A six-fi gure code will be displayed on the interface similar to below.
5. Turn the menu select switch to ‘Yes’ and press to select. The menu will return to ‘Add New Device’.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to add more devices.
7. Press the ‘Back’ button on completion to return to the previous menu.

As an aside, got a preview of the new EMS system the other day, have to say it looks very impressive ......

Thanks for the advice.
