I have just taken over a few new sites from an engineer that has moved on.
The majority of the panels are missing buzzers. There is a mixture of conv / add panels from different manufactors
Soldering a buzzer back on the PCBs seem to be a lot of hassle & want to avoid causing anymore damage to the panels.
Was thinking about wiring 2 buzzers through fire & fault relays on the panel. Have to make sure that the buzzer can be silenced in a fault condition ( easy done on an add.).
Any thoughts or inputs would be great.

i would opt for the re-solder new buzzers

Resolder new buzzers

Obviously they were cut as if in reception during maintenance it was getting on everyone's nerves , which I can sympathise with .
You need to put back as was , as the lads have commented on , I for one would use a push fit connector fitting so you can disable it as you require , then ensure the buzzer is working when you finish .
