Title: GENT Vigi - interface operation

Hi all
haven't been here for a while since the problems with the website.

Question...

I've had to replace a main controller card for a GENT vigi - result of lightning strike - memory loss etc. etc.
Everything ok after replacement (4 loops manual device text input -  aarrgghh!)... except... interface action will reset on "silence alarms" (eg. doors released on alarm will lock on "silence", rather than "reset").

Interfaces are in sector 32 and (zone 32) - I thought that higher sectors were default interface sectors (ie reset on "reset" not "silence") but obviously I have a problem.

Any assistance greatly appreciated

I would suggest for the most/best answers nipping over to the specialist forum at www.firealarmengineers.com  I find it very good for the technical side of things as oppose to the specification/coverage side more often discussed here.
