not sure where to put this so I'm putting it here ;D
Does anyone know any companies out there that supply information boxes? They are for a hospital entrances where the Fire Service will repond. I have googled it and can only find one company...I'm sure there are more out there! Feel free to PM

I think GERDA are the only supplier.

GERDA supply a "Premises Information Box" these have keys that a Fire Service would carry as issued by the premises ownner and purchaser, cost of keys is about £200 each. There are other companies who produce similar variants to the "Premises Box" but have only dealt with GERDA.

Be careful with what you buy as the local FRS may not have keys to every type of box and if the key at reception gets lost it can get expensive getting new ones. You could try asking local FRS for thier views, after all it their people who stand to get hurt if it all goes wrong!

Why special information boxes surely any bog standard box will suffice with appropriate signage, large enough to hold the documents and sealed with a lead seal? If the seal is found broken check the contents and I am sure the FRS would not thank you for giving them a fist full of keys to look after.

F&RS unlikely to carry keys other than bolt cutters and grinders.

yep I agree...and thats what I now intend to provide....having been in the FRS myself for 26 years I wouldn't dream of giving them a 'fist full of keys'...so there would be no need for them to thank me for it ;)
