Hi
I'm sure i've posted on this before, but despite looking I can't find anything, so apologies for re-posting!
I have been looking at the FPA's Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Safety Management Course, which I like the look of. Do the IFE offer anything similar?
I have looked on their website, but their training area seems to refer out to companies who are allowed to deliver their courses rather than giving me an overview of what's on offer, if this makes sense.
Anyone any thoughts over this FPA course or any similar courses the IFE offer?
Thanks :)

I believe your sector is Social Housing, I put together a 2 day course for scheme managers for one of my clients in this field which you may be interested in looking at. The course was intended to give them sufficient knowledge to understand the fire safety provisions in the schemes they managed, to carry out condition surveys and to prioritise defects and maintenance. There was also an element of fire risk assessment of small low rise buildings of this type within a clearly defined set of parameters.
Email me if you would like to see the course syllabus.

Don't think that IFE offer courses themselves, but they approve certain courses offered by others. Have a look on http://www.ife.org.uk/edutrain/approvedcoursesatoz/fireriskassessment
Can't comment on how good any of them are!

No the IFE don't offer the courses, they get approved centres to run them, which then means you have to scout around on other websites to see what's on offer.
Kurnal - I have e-mailed you :)

We have an IFE approved fire risk assessment course, which we then modify and deliver in-house to social housing associations. We can provide references from several satisfied associations.
