Title: Flame Retardant Spray

Morning

From the dearth of experience on this site, can anyone identify a British Standard which is specific to "Flame Retardant Spray".
I am aware of the flame retardant tests for materials/curtains/furnture etc, but do the various sprays on the market have to conform to a specific BS.

Can't find a specific BS for the spray itself. As you probably already know the material(s) treated are apparently capable of meeting BS5852 and 5867 after spraying.
Hopefully a learned contributor can help further  ???

Might you get it from the product's Safety Data Sheet?

All i have seen is that the manufacturer quotes that the material is capable of meeting the required BS after treatment, nothing on the data sheet itself.

So i suppose the requirement would be just that.

You could try SATRA ?(google it should give you their website). They carry out a range of fire testing procedures.

Thank you all for your comments. The SDA's refer to the standard BS for testing materials as I had reviewed those as well. Also bee through Barber and a several manufacturers sights. :)
