"Crews would get a stake in a brigade's success and even pocket dividends under the service revamp. "
Hang on a minute I thought these were publicly funded and publicly owned services? Is there not already a duty to offer us best value without paying dividends from the public purse? What next bonuses for MPs? (oh yes I forgot)
I might start a campaign to run the Sun as a proper newspaper.

This has made me >:(
This is all completely against what they are stating to us that they will do small works to try and reclaim some costs. Now they are going to be entrepreneurial and make profit which some will be paid back to its members. The people that are paid wages through the publics funds.
Things like this need to be stopped. If the fire service need more funds I would happily pay more taxes but if they all go after this in a big way I won't be paying taxes as I will be working for tesco on the workfair scheme.
