A question posed to me any observations.
I was wondering if you could help me or point me in the right direction. I'm working on a design for a new inflatable temporary structure and need to know how many and what size fire exits should be in place.

Isn't this a day or two late?

See BS 6661: 1986 - "Guide for Design, construction and maintenance of single–skin air supported structures". Has guidance on means of escape provision, as well as materials etc...

Isn't this a day or two late? Andy
Why?
Fishy I believe BS 6661: 1986 has been withdrawn. http://www.hantsfire.gov.uk/theservice/serviceorders/pd-6-40-8.htm

Quite right - withdrawn in 1998, but still referred to in the 'Places of Assembly' guides to the Fire safety order - published by the UK Government in 2006, so I guess still relevant & I don't know of anything else (the Hants document also says as much: "British Standard 6661: 1986 has been withdrawn, however, it is still referred to in the Approved Document B and represents the only standard available")?

I agree I did note it in Hantsfire guidance and I have also found another guide which is supposed to have HSE approval.
