The alarm was raised when smoke was spotted at about 05:20 on Monday.
I'm surprised they don't have automatic fire detection with an autodialler.

Maybe someone fancied some chips on his/her way home from the pub and was passing the station.
Or they left the xmas tree lights on overnight.
