Title: Burning of wood chips to produce bio fuel

Hi All,

Is anyone aware of any guidance, benchmark standards etc which relate to the above?

Would appreciate any sort of information which could be offered.

Hi Wood chip is not a problem, I have spent some time looking at a couple of wood pellet burning installations which have construction operating and safety issues due to the dust produced, particularly during delivery which could produce an explosive atmosphere.

I finished up doing DSEAR risk assessments in addition to fire risk assessments.

Hi All,

On a similar topic to the above, I have noted that the site used for the above has large vents which have not been fitted with fire dampers. Is anyone aware of any negative impacts which may result from installing fire dampers to vents in a potentially explosive environment?
