Title: vents and sprinklers

Would the experts of the forum kindly point me to some documents that would help me understand when vents are required to be installed with sprinklers in a warehouse or other premises (not including shopping complexes)? I have a distant memory from FSC lectures about sprinklers always needing to be accompanied by vents but i come across some sprinklered warehouses with no vents and some which used to have them but they've been decommissioned due to rainwater leaks. Thanks.

Another place to look is the FM Global datasheets. Not totally relevant as they are based on the American experience and standards but they may have some insights.
