I am looking for several experienced fire risk assessors, ex fire service dedicated fire safety officers would be preferred with at least 5 years inspecting experience and experience of conducting fire risk assessments in all premises types. Experience of conducting assessments in social housing would also be required. Also recognised fire safety qualifications and training programme including any 3rd party accreditations such as FRACS, BAFE 205 etc. and/or listings on any of the fire risk assessors registers such as IFE, IFSM, NAFRAR etc.
Work is mainly in the North West of England but can cover the UK.

There are no dedicated fire safety officers in England any more, Willie, just non-dedicated ones pottering around ticking boxes and creating chaos. Its not like what is was in your days or those of Big Al.
(OK I make a special exception for Midland Retters and a few others of his ilk, cos he is a king in the west mids, though when he and I buy LFB, he will move to the south.)

Willie: Beware the H&S people. They understand management systems but not building construction, fire behaviour design of means of escape, etc. Anyhow, as you know, no one knows diddly squat about fire safety unless they have driven the dreaded red lorry, or , in Suppers case, the big red laddery thing he put in the wrong position.
