Title: Fire Rating Figures for Different Materials
Post by: CWEENG on June 25, 2014, 12:15:52 AM
I am trying to put together some information for a client, for which I used to have a useful  Tool / Spread sheet (can?t remember wear I got it from). While doing this for the client I have realised that I have deleted it / mis saved it.

My spread sheet gave general fire rating figures for different materials such as different sizes of concrete block, bricks and other building materials, including fire rating of cavity walls eg. [ standard London brick, 4 ? cavity, inner block work 90mm, = fire rating x hrs] etc.

Would like to replace my reference spread sheet which I also added to as I accumulated additional information RE different manufacturers products, as you do.

Can any of the members point me in the right direction.

You could try BR128 thats got a lot of that kind of stuff in it - bit out of date but still handy

These days you should really be using the Eurocodes ( http://shop.bsigroup.com/en/Browse-By-Subject/Eurocodes/The-BSI-Companion-to-the-Structural-Eurocodes/ ).  Especially important if the element is structural.
