Title: Tenants' Association Offices In High Rise Block
Post by: Tadees on February 03, 2015, 03:06:16 PM
I assume there would be purpose group separation (60 minutes FR) between tenants' association office in a block and the rest of the block.  Where in Approved Document B can I find reference to this?  I have looked but can'e seem to see it.

Try 8.11

Parts of a building that are occupied mainly for different purposes should be separated from one another by compartment walls and/or compartment floors. This does not apply where one of the different purposes is ancillary to the other.

Refer to Appendix D for guidance on whether a function should be regarded as ancillary or not.
