I am a bit mystified by the comment near the end that wiring needs to be 'in metal trunking'. My understanding of the changes to the "Wiring Regs" is that the cable must be secured by fastenings that will not allow it to collapse in fire conditions. That doesn't rule out PVC trunking - just that you must use metal clips through the trunking to secure the cable(s) to the wall/ceiling and not rely only on the trunking to hold it in place.
