Following a conversation I had yesterday, I understand that the CFOA scooter guidance is being written at presence. Don't know the publishing date.

I know why CFOA are interested.  I see it now-mobility scooters, the new company vehicle for chief fire officers.

No Colin, with the new government ideas on retirement age for fire fighters you are looking at the next generation of fire appliances.

You dont need fire appliances in England as they dont bother going to fires any more unless you can confirm the flames are through the roof, at which point there is no point in going.
