Title: US Travel distances

I am a 4th year part time student at UCLAN. My dissertation is to compare the travel distances of 5588, 9999, 7974 and NFPA 101.

Has anyone access to earlier US codes and knowledge of their origins?

Try the NIST Library in the States. http://nvl.nist.gov/ will get you onto their site. UCLAN library may have a link to them .
