im interested in the fire service when i leave college could someone tell me some basic info such as

holiday entitlement
benefits
annual tests
retirement age

Hutch,
         Contact the Fire & Rescue Service in the area where you live or study, I am sure they will give you any information you require.
Most Brigades also have websites that contain recruitment info.
Retirement age 55. Salary for a fire-fighter about £25000 I think.

Colin,
         'Fraid so, It is a while since I was on a fireman's pay!
 I did think about suggesting young Hutch went on the Bruvvers site to get pay details but that may  have been a bit scary for him.
Oops I may be lowering the tone with ribald comments, better go!
