I am interested in the levels of protection afforded by UK manufactured Tunics & Leggings. Can anyone tell me if there are different levels of protection within the British Standard. Also are there different levels of protection offered by UK manufacturers that all meet B.S. but some are superior and therefore more expensive. Has the standard or quality changed significantly in the last three years.

have researched some stuff about PPE BS469 however if you really wwant good information contact Ian Moses and Grampian Fire and Rescue service (012240 696666 he is a guru in this field
