Title: Fire doors in kitchens

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there is a legal requirement for councils to fit fire doors to the kitchens of their leased properties?  And do they have to be 30 or 60minutes fire resistant?

If you mean in houses and flats, only if the hallway is otherwise intended to be a protected route.
