Hi - just a question that I can't work out the answer to via Dr Google. I get that there are different standard for fire safety for furniture used in domestic and non domestic settings - but out of interest which would you say is the higher standard - BS 7176 (say the medium risk level) or, compliance with The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regs? Many thanks in advance if anyone can help or give me an insight!

Based on the FIRA Guide items meeting domestic furniture regulations are more or less equivalent to items that have passed the BS 7176 & 7177 tests for Low Risk environments. Medium, High and Very High risk items provide greater fire performance.
