There is a fuse box in a warehouse enclosed in a metal cupboard and the front panel opens. Will this need to be enclosed in fire resistant boarding or say 2 x 12.5mm plasterboard and skimmed both sides, with fire resistant hinges and intumescent strips? The fuse box has been there many years.

It sounds like it is already in a non combustible housing so you need to ask based on it's location what the risk to escape and risk of fire spread actually is from it before determining whether enclosure is needed.
