Title: Fire safety regulations 2022, in relation to commercial blocks
Post by: mosh on January 29, 2023, 01:24:33 PM
How do the Fire Safety Regulations 2022 impact on fire safety within high rise commerical blocks? The Regulations seem to specify only residential blocks. Does that mean that there is no change to commercial blocks? E.g. no need to check fire doors quarterly, or to check dry risers monthly?

It's quite clear in the legislation, residential buildings only i.e. containing 2 or more dwellings and which contains common parts through which residents would need to evacuate in the case of an emergency.
