CAN ANYONE CLARIFY SOMETHING FOR ME I AM TAKING MY LFF PART 2s SOON AND I NEED TO KNOW WETHER I SHOULD GET A CREW TO TAKE IN A HOSEREEL OR A JET . I KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO IN THE REAL WORLD BUT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN EXAMS[/b]

Assess The Brief, Do a risk assesment and decide on the day.

Personally, a 45mm Jet is just as easy to handle as a hosereel yet gives you more punch.

i always tell the missus "size isnt important.its what you do with it"a high press hosereel in the right hands is much the best As stated .read the brief,,one room fire  prob hosereel,,but dont forget it may need outside main branch laid out to cover flashover possibility
