Title: wireless part 1 commercial fire alarm system

hi all
is there a BS 5839-1 wireless fire alarm system that is accepted as compliant,on the market?
its a while since i looked,but technology is a wonderful thing?

Loads and loads, it's getting more and more common, Hyfire, EMS, EDA Zerio Plus, Hochiki Firewave, Ziton (UTC), Wi-Fyre, etc

Most are now hybrid to allow a mix of wired & non wired, some can go on a conventional system, most panel manufacturers can support at least one of the main wireless brands if not more.

As long as there is a proper radio survey there are generally few issues these days, a lot of bad reputation of the technology was down to poor/no surveys, poor installation and the Detectomat scandal.

As Mr Buck says, loads available.  I'm normally fairly critical of accepting them on a whole-life asset cost basis (CAPEX vs OPEX) but in certain applications (e.g. heritage) they're indispensable.

I would recommend EMS if going Radio
