Title: Gamification in fire safety
Post by: Fire Monkey on May 12, 2020, 07:19:26 PM
Does any one know about any fire safety gamification applications/programmes that are available (for free). The organisation I work for is looking to get an apprentice fire safety/fire risk assessor and such a thing could be great for them. Perhaps if someone is working on a Beta system then could let people try it out?

Chimpy, I would respond if I knew what the hell gamification is. Bill Gates certainly does not know because he has underlined the word with a wavy red line and Wullie Gates rools the wurld.

Hello.

Gamification (yes not a real word) is a new term to describe how learning can be delivered via specialised computer game modelling. For example, a computer game is designed to teach fire safety of physical equipment, technical spec, standards etc through game play. The idea is to make subject learning fun and more accessible.
