Some of you may be aware of a document BSI published a year ago - PAS 79 - Fire risk Assessment , Guidance and a suitable methodology. We are now embarking on the revision process and would be grateful for any of you that have used the document to tell us what worked and what didn't. It is only by using the comments of actual users of the document that we can make it more robust and fit for purpose. Thus any comments should be sent to myself at nicki.dennis@bsi-global.com before August 21st 2006. In return for your efforts you will receive a free copy of the new amended version whcih will be available early next year.
BSI is the UK's national standards body - we are independent of both government and industry and seek to provide the market with consensus based tools for best practice. We are non-profit distributing - i.e. any money we make goes back into standards development.
