point of entry written tests ?
« on: October 15, 2006, 03:32:39 PM »
I am due to sit the written exams for West Midlands Fire Service soon, I have received practice questions to study ( verbal, non- verbal, numerical, and spacial awareness ). Although I am kinda familiar with what these questions are designed to do, having sat exams for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue and Manchester Airport Fire Service before, the questions for West Mids seem to be in a very different format than I have experienced. I was of the understanding that all fire brigades were using the new National Firefighter Standard tests, but the ones for West Mids seem to be differnent for some reason.

Does anyone have any experience of this or know what to expect from West Midlands Fire Service ?

Thanks.
