Can anyone help my with passing the firefighter interview i need all the information or qeustions anyone has Iam recruiting for Lothian and Borders Fire Sevice if that help anyone who has sat this interview recently and and if they remember any of the qeustion or any of there sample answers for the PQA's

Hey,

To get some sample answers there is a how 2 become CD that is purely focused on the interview.
Its not amazing and wont guarantee you pass but it does have some sample answers on it.

I brought the 'How 2 become' DVD for the application form and was very dissappointed, it basically just read through the all the PQA's and the application form.

If the Interview one is anything like this I would save your money!

Hey,

Yes but there is a seperate CD that is just based on the interview.
It doesnt look at any of the other stages other than just the interview - I thought there was some useful info on it.

I have both and Ive got agree with rp i did find them both useful i did unfornatly fail my first attempt at the interview but this was purely down to my own nerves got the better of me. rp i have a huge favour to ask do u remember any of the answer you gave that i could use to think of my own examples Iam struggling with Sovling Problems, Motivation to achieve tasks effectivly, valuein different types of groups or indivisauls, Or if u can remember any of the qeustion that you where asked when you went for Lothian and Borders interview that would be great.

Ant help would be great being a firefighter is my dream and ill do everything I can to get there.

lbfrsedinburgh, judging by your last reply you may hope there is no spelling requirements during the interview especially when they give you a task and you have a dry wipe board to explain it (thats a tip) lol
