Ziton discontinued Intrinsically Safe Range

Can anybody shed any light on Ziton's decision to discontinue manufacturing their EX range?
Reasons, implications etc???

Also, does anybody know if any other IS detectors can sit on the ZP3 loop?

They now sell a range of conventional IS field devices,  which you would then connect through a galvanic isolator to an addressable module.
