Hi I wonder if anyone can help me I have been studying the PQA for months know and I have an example of how I meet each one (very good examples to be honest), However there is a few point I cant figure out the meaning of or understand so I dont no if I cant demostrate them or show examples of them, if anyone can help it would be very appreciated.

Sensitive to the feelings and well being of others

Try to think of a time where you had to consider someone else's feeling, or look after the well being of someone.

Say a bereaving friend perhaps? Maybe you were out with friends and one of them fell ill, you helped someone who's car had broken down...?

Perhaps you stopped at a road traffic collision and consoled a shocked driver, or re-assured someone who was panicked for whatever reason.

Dont worry about trying to think of something dramatic and making on you were a cross between a heroic Bruce Willis in Die Hard and a kind thoughtful vicar

Ordinary day to day stuff will suffice - when you think about things logically and methodically - think of how you benefitted someone.

example:-

THE SITUATION

My friend lost the keys to her flat and contacted me for help

She was in a state of panic because her cash card was still in the flat and she was also worried about the welfare of her pet dog who hadn't been fed. To compound things further it was raining that day and my friend got drenched and was freezing cold.

To make matters worse my friends was worried about an elderly relative that she was supposed to be visiting who was relying upon her to pick up a prescription from the chemists for her.

Without her cash card to hand she couldnt pay for a taxi to get to her relative or have enough money to pick up the prescription

WHAT I DID

I went and picked up my friend, calmed her down, brought her back to my apartment to dry off and warm up. I gave her some of my clothes to change into and a hot drink.

I then drove her a lift to see her elderely relatives and lent her some money to do the shopping.

After that I called a locksmith who was able to open the door for my friend she had locked her keys inside her flat
and I fed my friends dog

WHAT HAPPENED AS A RESULT

My friend was able to take shelter in my flat, warm up and dry off without any ill effects.

I was able to calm my friend down and help her to think rationally and positively

My friends relative who was very elderely and frail was able to get her much needed prescription of medication.

We ensured the welfare of my friends dog

Not brilliant but you get the idea - try to think of soemthing which in your eyes might not seem significant but as you start thinking of what you did and what happened as a result you realise you did help actually put someons feelings before your own / considered other people etc.

Apologies however for the poor grammar and spelling mistakes - I was typing faster than my brain could keep up with

lbfrsedinburgh private message me if you need any further help - for goodness sake dont use my example its riddled with bad grammar and is just to give you an idea of what the assessors are looking for!.
