Interview Dates

Does anybody know what the procedure is if you get as far as the face to face interview stage. What i mean is do they give you a choice of dates like in the NFA tests stage or do they give you a date and that is final?

The reason i am asking is because i need to go abroad for a few days from Fri 11th July (flying late at night, so will be available for the Friday) and coming home early hours Tuesday 15th July. Would they be interviewing over the weekend (Sat 12th & Sun 13th)? My timetable is as follows:

•    Telephone interviews – w/c 9th June and 16th June 2008
•    Practical tests – 28th June to 3rd July 2008
•    Face to face interviews – 7th to 14th July 2008
•    Medicals – 15th to 25th July 2008
•    Course start date – 8th September 2008

Any advice would be much appreciated asap as i would need to look into the possibility of cancelling the flights.

The easiest and most sensible thing to do would be to speak to the FRS you are currently involved with in the recruitment campaign.

You can tell them you will be away and if your interview can be re-arranged.

If you do not speak to them they cannot help you.

You should have a choice of dates to pick from if you get to that stage. Your best option is to get in early and schedule a date before you go away.
