Menvier 9300 conventional panel

Hi
Can someone please tell me - are Apollo Series 65 detectors/bases compatible with this panel or do they have to be Menvier to comply with head removal fully.

Cheers

MY thinking is that as the EOL is a resister with a diode base and the head removed the panel would still see the resister, so not showing a fault.  The Menvier base has a switch with parallel Zenor diode I believe.  I hope this makes sense!

eol is a 12K resistor. Can't find anyhting to say wether the bases use zener or shokty..

I think that the Menvier panels monitor with a standard resistor and diode bases are used , there is no active eol as the panel has the electronics for the head removal built into the pcb . So you use a standard base if the job is old  ie head out loose the zone.
What I would check that when the existing heads are removed it brings up a fault , as they may have been wired inccorrectly **** see previous threads.
Its time to make a counter attack !

Bibbage, you require apollo S60 zener base (pt no. 45681-350). I can confirm that head removal works on the MF400 series panels as I tried it only last week. I reckon will therefore work on the MF9300 as both panels were around at the same time.
